Music

Music plays a key role in the expression of the House’s communal life in worship. All ordinands are provided with singing lessons, and take it in turn to lead Evensong. In addition, the House musicians would be delighted to hear if any student is able to play an instrument or wants to sing for solemn masses. In recent years, choirs have sung Haydn’s Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo and Victoria’s setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis as well as the full programme of liturgical music for Holy Week.
