Getting to SSH

By Car (and Car Parking)
If you are bringing a car to College, please inform the College Secretary who will allocate you a car park (Moberly Close or James Street). If someone is dropping you off, the best place to park is often the James Street car park. Entry codes for car parks can be ascertained from the College Secretary prior to arrival.

By Bus
Bus services from London run about every 10 minutes during the day, and at least on the hour during the night. These stop at St. Clement’s, parallel to the Cowley Road. Other coaches from across the country set down at Gloucester Green in town, from where you can catch a taxi to the House.

By Train
Oxford is served by good train links from both the north and the south. Once you arrive at the station, the best thing to do is either call a taxi or catch a bus (look for the number 5 from stop R2, which heads down the Cowley Road, and alight at the top of James Street).

On Arrival
Your first day at the House will be a frantic experience - all that stuff to move, lots of new people to meet etc. The main thing is not to worry about it: Common Room Committee members will be around to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.
